Went here with a friend and we got a quick instruction of the ordering system from one of the waitresses (you'll need it since you're ordering on iPads). Best thing I can say about this restaurant apart from the potatoes, it would be good for a quick lunchtime bite to get out of the office, but I wouldn't take anyone there to impress them, unless they were served by Carlos! The managerial staff were almost surly and didn't even do us the courtesy of looking us in the eye when he asked how our dinner was. All the waiting staff were excellent, friendly and helpful.
There is a lot of confusion around the door, the till is there, entrance and exit, and I pity the poor people who would end up at the table in the same place. There was a slip up on the ipad system that didn't register our drinks but part of a new computer system teething problem probably. the quality of the meat was very good and adheres to the slow food principle, but the food in general apart from the fries was nothing more than average. The other burger was undercooked (you can specify how you wish it to be cooked) and the filling kept slipping out of the bun. The kids burgers had fries on the inside? the soya burger was pappy, undercooked and tasted of.well, newspaper I guess. The fries came 15 minutes before the burgers but were delicious, and accompanied by 5 different dipping sauces all very tasty. The ipad system was explained very well by our superb waiter (thanks Carlos) and the kids had fun doing the ordering, we ordered three burgers, one soya burger and 2 fries. We were shown to our table which had chairs on one side and a bench on the other joined to the bench on the table behind, the adult in our party who sat there had a little trouble getting in. From the outside this little restaurant looks fun and funky, the decor is very modern shabby and the service is all done via ipad.
